About the Job
UCTalent Labs is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial BD & Headhunting Lead to join our team as a Late-join Co-founder. This pivotal hybrid role is central to accelerating UCTalent's mission to become Vietnam's leading Smart Referral platform for Tech hiring, connecting businesses and headhunters through innovative AI Agents. You will play a crucial part in both generating immediate revenue through our headhunting services and driving the scalable growth of our Smart ATS SaaS product. This role demands a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, balancing a 60% focus on building and operating our Headhunting Service with a 40% focus on expanding our SaaS ATS market presence.
Responsibilities
[60%] Build & Operate Headhunting Service:
- Directly lead and execute end-to-end Tech recruitment processes for Mid, Senior, and Lead-level roles, securing and fulfilling client contracts.
- Actively "dogfood" UCTalent's Smart ATS as your primary operational tool, providing critical feedback on AI screening, CV evaluation, and interview analysis to our Product team.
- Develop, nurture, and activate a robust external referrer network, managing the 80/20 bonus payout mechanism to source top talent efficiently.
- Generate immediate service revenue to support company operations and provide invaluable real-world user data for continuous product refinement.
- Develop and execute aggressive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies to expand the paying B2B customer base for UCTalent's Pro, Starter, and Business SaaS packages.
- Achieve targets of 25-40 new paying B2B clients, focusing on key Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) including: Independent headhunters/freelance recruitment groups (driving adoption of the Pro package). And Tech Startups/Scale-ups (Series A-C) in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang (driving adoption of Starter/Business packages).
- Recruit, onboard, and activate a high-performing external partner network, leveraging an attractive 50% first-year commission structure to accelerate annual package sales and secure significant upfront cash flow.
- Strategically convert companies from traditional headhunting engagements to long-term UCTalent SaaS solution subscribers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in relevant fields such as Tech Recruitment, Business Development, or B2B SaaS Sales.
- Demonstrated ability to execute end-to-end recruitment processes, specifically within the Technology sector.
- Strong understanding of the Vietnamese tech talent market, its dynamics, and key hiring challenges.
- Track record of successfully acquiring new business and managing client relationships.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, drive initiatives, and achieve targets without direct people management responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Vietnamese & English, both written and verbal, for all business communications.
Preferred Requirement
- Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment or building new business lines from inception.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other HR Technology platforms.
- Experience in building and scaling partner networks or referral programs.
- Proven ability to develop and implement Go-to-Market strategies for SaaS products effectively.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate detailed execution plans (e.g., a one-page action plan for the role).
- Professional proficiency in English is a significant plus, especially for engaging with international clients or partners.
- Analytical mindset to interpret market trends, product usage data, and derive actionable insights.
